Leeds is well known for its DIY underground punk, grunge and indie scene, however since 2007 it has been establishing itself as having a growing electronic scene with a rise in various club nights in the city.

Brudenell Social Club

For a pop, rock and indie fix there are multiple live music venues, one that embraces diversity in music is the ‘Brudenell Social Club’ which is famous for hosting secret gigs for The Kaiser Chiefs and Franz Ferdinand. Boasting to be the best in Leeds for rock and alternative needs ‘The Key Club’ provides entertainment from local bands right through to national and international artists.

Leeds Belgrave music hall

Leeds night life is vibrant and combining drinks, food and music is something it does well especially in ‘Belgrave music hall and canteen’. A space for eating and drinking where you can wonder into the music venue and potentially stumble upon your next favourite band. Leeds provides plenty opportunity for capturing artists before they reach new heights, ‘The Wardrobe’ in the heart of the art quarter is an example venue where they have had Amy Winehouse, Catfish and the Bottlemen and George Ezra play on their way up in the industry.
