With a rich and varied history in jazz, this recent live video of John McLaughling playing at Berklee College of Music in 2017, shows his playing is still, very much, in fine form! John McLaughlin is a Legendary Jazz/Rock Fusion Guitar Player, who has played with some of the greatest jazz musicians in history, including Miles Davies in the 70's, bringing his rock fusion into the mix.

His music has also crossed over into world music, with his colaboration with indian musicians in the Mahavisnhu orchestra On this occasion John McLaughlin will be reigniting music from the fusion band project in 2010 with the quartet 4th Dimension, with Keyboards Gary Husband, bassist Étienne M'Bappé and drummer Ranjit Barot.

The style is groove ensemble, with funky percussion. Support comes from London-born Indian singer Ranjana Ghatak, who will performing material from her upcoming album.
